We are looking for a Network
Administrator & Helpdesk Specialist that will be responsible for
ensuring that all Servers in the data center & branches of the company
connected to the main network at the Data Center in the main building, and
ensure that the network works efficiently
This role includes the provision of technical support for all computers and their
accessories as well as the first level of support for all applications to
ensure users work securely & efficiently, monitor the Datacenter and
perform daily checklist reports.
Responsibilities:
- Administrate & Monitoring Network devices (Routers & Switches) in the Building & branches,
- Providing the necessary technical support to ensure the network is up and running.
- Monitoring all subnets and make sure to connect to the main network.
- Provide the necessary technical support for the network of branches in case of failure in the main network.
- Ensuring that the company is connected to the Internet and monitoring the performance.
- Field inspection work to connect new branches of the company and choose the appropriate method of connections.
- Follow-up faults with the service providers
- Provide technical support for all computers and accessories
- Configuring computer operating systems.
- Preparing applications, office programs, and e-mail on all types of computer
- Provide the first level of technical support to all users.
- Escalating the problems of applications and systems to the appropriate team and follow up their solution.
- Provide a monthly report on the level of performance and the number and type of problems that have been resolved.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience is required.
- Must be Saudi National.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2008/2012) /desktop Operating Systems (8/10)
- Managing deployments/rollouts
- A solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking
- Cisco Certified Network Associate or Professional -CCNA/ CCNP MCITP Server
- Group Policy design and configuration
- Microsoft IIS administration and configuration
- Migration of Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2016
- Firewall administrator
- Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration
- Ability to troubleshoot network issues including backbone infrastructure issues
- LAN Routing and Switching design, configuration, and troubleshooting (VLANs, IP Subnetting, 802.1Qtrunks)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Must be organized and have the ability to manage projects of varying length
- Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
- Must be a team player.
