Senior Back-end Engineer

We're looking for a Backend developer who will take a key role on our team

well-rounded expert in Back-End/API web development for robust web application solutions. This

position is a Hybrid opportunity. Our ideal team member is an expert in PHP, including the Laravel

has extensive experience with n-tier app architecture, is well-versed in the

agile methodology, and is no stranger to DevOps with continuous integration. Our developers must

have proven expertise in all stages of software development.

Qualifications
B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
Willingness to learn, debug and work at solving challenging, yet fun problems.
A good understanding of Unix/Linux fundamentals (Ubuntu, Redhat/CentOS, or Debian), basic
networking principles and scripting (bash, Perl).
6+ years of experience in Back-end development using PHP.
Have experience with Laravel and Symfony frameworks.
Solid understanding of OOP.
Outstanding experience with MySQL and Redis.
Outstanding experience with security measures for building secure APIs.
Outstanding experience with code versioning tools (git, Gitlab).
Great experience with Access Management, and OAuth.
Develop, maintain, and optimize robust and scalable APIs and Databases.
Engage with Tech/Non-tech teams to analyze features.
Profile, tune, scale, and optimize execution of existing queries and functions.
Investigate and research new frameworks, services, and tools.
Utilize minimal resources to deliver maximum outputs.
Engage with Front-end and UX team members to deliver features.
Database profiling and optimization for both RDBMS & NoSQL.
