Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manages incoming texts and chats from individuals with needs ranging from emotional support to crisis intervention
  • Obtains demographic and contact information from individuals where possible and as appropriate
  • Performs safety screenings for individuals reaching out for assistance and responds as indicated, providing emotional support and/or crisis intervention
  • Provides resources and linkage with providers when possible
  • Consults with managers on when indicated; and handles referrals for specialty care
  • Documents each interaction as required by policy.
  • May also respond to telephone and written inquiries from clients, providers and in-house departments
  • Works with team and program leadership to respond to all contacts within standards outlined by performance guarantees.

Requirements

  • Requires HS diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years customer service experience in healthcare related setting and medical terminology training; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background AppleOne is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
