Primary Responsibilities
- Build models to forecast financial impact of business strategies
- Analyze pharmacy and medical benefit claims to identify trends in cost/utilization data
- Query from relational databases and summarize information in a meaningful way
- Identify and lead process automation opportunities through various programming languages such as SQL, R and Tableau
- Present key findings and analytical reports to stakeholders

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Business or a related field
- 3+ years of work experience in an analytics capacity
- Intermediate level proficiency with Excel, SQL and at least one of the following: R, SAS or Python
- Ability to navigate relational databases
- Ability to understand all necessary requirements of a request and to solve a problem when faced with ambiguity
- Ability to communicate and present data to stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the healthcare insurance industry, preferably with exposure to medical and/or pharmacy claims data
- Intermediate level proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
