Job Description
The ideal candidate for this position must have a positive attitude and be self-motivated while also taking direction from Management. Requires oral/written communication skills and a proven history of providing exceptional customer service at all levels. Our work environment is team oriented and very fast paced, therefore a strong candidate must have excellent organizational and time management skills in addition to a professional attitude that exemplifies the Optimere culture.
Position hours are 8A-5P Monday - Friday daytime with overtime as needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
- Understand and identify customs documentation
- Transpose customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration
- Verify documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct
- Provide excellent customer service building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally
- Ensure compliance at all times to regulations
- Daily execution of workflow and department metrics
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors Degree,
- Effective interpersonal skills- including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical
- Proficient computer skills- solid data entry with high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Growth mindset, eager to learn and develop your skills
- Desire for a career in supply chain/logistics
