Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (37.5 hours per week)
About the Opportunity
An established law firm in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join its legal team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is interested in expanding their knowledge across multiple areas of law.
While prior experience with real estate transactions is beneficial, candidates with strong general paralegal experience and a willingness to learn real estate law are encouraged to apply. Comprehensive training will be provided for the real estate-specific aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate residential and commercial real estate closings from inception through completion
- Review, organize, and enter title information accurately

Prepare and draft legal documents, including:
- Deeds
- Agreements of Sale
- Affidavits
- Closing-related documentation
- Maintain accurate legal files and transaction records
- Communicate with attorneys, clients, lenders, title companies, and other parties involved in transactions
- Schedule closings and coordinate required documentation
- Assist attorneys with administrative and case management responsibilities
- Support additional legal practice areas, including debt collection and other general legal matters
- Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant
- Experience preparing legal documents and managing legal files
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff
- Strong willingness to learn new practice areas and legal procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling real estate closings independently
- Knowledge of title review and settlement procedures
- Experience using real estate settlement software, such as SoftPro
- Familiarity with debt collection matters
- Previous experience in a law firm environment
