About the Role:

Were seeking experienced L3 Application Support Engineers to join our enterprise IT team, with a focus on AS400-based systems and .NET/Windows environments. This is a high-impact role where youll be responsible for advanced incident resolution, root cause analysis, and ensuring application stability for critical business systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production environments.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on recurring incidents and proactively monitor applications using Dynatrace, IBM monitoring, and system logs.
• Understand how applications are built, deployed, and managedincluding batch jobs and real-time integrations.
• Debug issues in RPG, COBOL, DB2, .NET, and Java applications.
• Collaborate with development and infra teams to escalate, resolve, and document issues.
• Create and maintain SOP documents, training materials, and knowledge bases.
• Conduct user training and communicate updates effectively across teams.

Must-Have Skills:

🔹 Senior Role (AS400-focused):

• Deep understanding of AS400, RPG, COBOL, DB2 SQL, and CL (Command Line).
• Strong SQL skills and log reading/interpretation.
• Ability to debug legacy code and support complex application integrations.

🔹 Mid-Level Role (.NET-focused):

• Strong expertise in Windows OS, .NET, Java, APIs, and SQL.
• Familiarity with application architecture, trend analysis, and proactive monitoring.

🔹 Common Requirements:

• High-end troubleshooting, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Dynatrace, IBM application monitoring tools, and real-time system support.

Preferred Skills (Should Have):

• Hands-on experience in API, Java, and .NET development/support.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
• Experience in user training, SOP creation, and knowledge management.

Nice to Have (Secondary):

• Scripting experience (any language).
• Exposure to cloud-hosted applications (MPI/POD).
