Senior UI/UX Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Senior UI/UX Engineer to join our remote team. As a Senior UI/UX Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces and experiences for our web and mobile applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that enhance user engagement and satisfaction. Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand user requirements and translate them into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
2. Design and implement user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience across all platforms.
3. Develop interactive prototypes using modern frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular).
4. Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to gather feedback and insights for iterative design improvements.
5. Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs.
6. Optimize application performance and responsiveness, and ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices.
7. Stay updated with the latest UI/UX design trends, tools, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.
8. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries.
9. Mentor junior UI/UX engineers and provide guidance on UI/UX design principles and best practices.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design and frontend development, with a focus on building responsive and interactive user interfaces.
3. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as frontend frameworks/libraries such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
4. Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles, user-centered design methodologies, and accessibility standards.
5. Experience with design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or InVision.
6. Solid portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects and frontend development work.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
