BI Dashboard/Reports Developer (Consultant)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled BI Dashboard/Reports Developer with experience in the banking and finance sector. The ideal candidate excels in data visualization and storytelling, with strong proficiency in Tableau. This role involves developing and enhancing management dashboards and reports, while also supporting existing BI team members to deliver insightful data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dashboard Design & Development: Recommend and design effective dashboard layouts and formats based on data availability and business requirements. Develop sample dashboards using Tableau focusing on common banking KPIs/metrics.
• BI Report Design & Development: Develop BI reports based on requirement specifications. Conduct gap analysis, create execution plans, and ensure successful delivery of BI reports.
• Data Extracts: Produce data extracts according to business needs. Perform gap analysis and create detailed checklists for delivering data extracts and reports.
• Existing Dashboard Improvements: Enhance existing dashboards and reports for improved clarity and usability.
• BI Documentation: Document and align business rules and definitions with stakeholders to ensure consistent reporting and a single version of the truth.

Preferred Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of common KPIs and metrics in the banking and finance industry.
• Proficiency in designing and developing dashboards tailored to business needs using Tableau.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and extract actionable insights.
