Job Summary:
Our client, a reputable player in the freight forwarding industry, is seeking an ambitious Sales & Marketing Executive to join their team in Jeddah. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and implementing effective marketing strategies to promote the company's freight forwarding services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence in the freight forwarding sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and qualifying potential clients, including importers, exporters, manufacturers, and traders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, addressing their needs and concerns, and upselling additional services where possible.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements, and incorporate findings into marketing strategies.
- Create compelling marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content, to showcase the company's services and capabilities.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company's brand and establish connections within the freight forwarding community.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients, negotiating terms and closing deals to meet sales targets.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and market dynamics to adapt sales and marketing strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3-8 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
- Fluency in English and Arabic languages is preferred.
