Technical Architect & Director

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a talented Technical Architect & Director to join our team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership and technical expertise to drive the architecture and development of complex software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software architecture, combined with excellent leadership skills to guide and mentor our development teams.

Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the technical architecture strategy for our software products and solutions.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable and robust software systems that meet business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate into our technical roadmap.
• Oversee the development lifecycle from concept to deployment, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Conduct code reviews, architecture reviews, and technical assessments to ensure quality and alignment with architectural principles.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on software architecture and design patterns, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including executives, product managers, and development teams, to drive alignment and collaboration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Technical Architect or similar role, with at least 8 years of experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in software architecture design principles, patterns, and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with modern software development technologies and frameworks.
• Experience leading and managing development teams in an Agile environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote work environment.
• Certifications in relevant areas such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar, are a plus.
