Interior Designer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences for residential or commercial spaces.
• Develop innovative and functional design concepts that align with client needs and project goals.
• Create detailed design plans, including 2D and 3D drawings, using software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Select and source materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures that meet aesthetic, functional, and budgetary requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals to ensure successful project execution and timely completion.
• Provide guidance and support during the construction and installation phases, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging materials, and design techniques to offer creative and up-to-date solutions.
• Prepare project proposals, cost estimates, and timelines, and present them to clients for approval.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
• Utilize MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to prepare presentations, reports, and project-related documentation.

Requirements:

1. 1 to 4 years of experience in interior design, preferably in residential and commercial projects.
2. Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp software for creating detailed design plans and 3D visualizations.
3. Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
4. Excellent creativity and design skills, with an eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
7. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
8. Degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field is preferred.
