We are seeking a highly motivated and organized HR Specialist to join our dynamic Human Resources team. The HR Specialist will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to a positive and engaging work environment. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a deep understanding of HR best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating interviews with hiring managers.
  • Administer and maintain HR databases and employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist in onboarding new employees, conducting orientation sessions, and facilitating the completion of required paperwork.
  • Support employee relations efforts by addressing employee inquiries, concerns, and conflicts, and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Manage and track employee performance evaluations, probationary periods, and training programs.
  • Coordinate employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Assist in payroll processing and timekeeping activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with labor laws and regulations to ensure HR practices remain in compliance.
  • Participate in HR projects, such as employee engagement surveys, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and talent development programs.
  • Assist in organizing company events, team-building activities, and employee recognition programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in human resources or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software systems.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
