Electrical Technician (Amusement Park Rides)

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with established safety procedures and regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and troubleshoot electrical issues, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on electrical systems to ensure their optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
• Diagnose electrical problems using testing devices and provide accurate and timely solutions.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to determine proper installation and troubleshooting methods.
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors to coordinate electrical work and ensure smooth project execution.
• Adhere to electrical codes, standards, and safety guidelines in all work performed.
• Keep accurate records of electrical work, including maintenance logs, repair reports, and equipment inventory.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electrical technology and techniques.
• Provide guidance and support to less experienced technicians as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Technician.
2. Proficiency in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and repair.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
4. Familiarity with electrical testing devices and troubleshooting techniques.
5. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
6. Good understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
7. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
8. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
