Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our remote team. Responsibilities:
- Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful patterns, trends, and insights using statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms.
- Develop predictive models and algorithms to solve business problems and optimize decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, gather requirements, and prioritize tasks.
- Clean, preprocess, and manipulate data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency for analysis.
- Build and deploy machine learning models into production environments, and monitor their performance over time.
- Interpret and communicate analysis results and insights to stakeholders through visualizations, reports, and presentations.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies, and apply them to improve existing models and methodologies.
- Conduct experiments and A/B tests to evaluate model performance and validate hypotheses.
- Mentor junior data scientists and provide guidance on best practices in data analysis and modeling.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field; Master's or Ph.D. degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or related fields.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, along with experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts and methods, and experience with hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and time series forecasting.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques such as classification, regression, clustering, and natural language processing.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
