Robot Technician (Manufacturing)

Job Title: Robot Technician

Location: Port Elizabeth, South Africa

Responsibilities:

• Operation and modifications on robot programs of Kuka and ABB Robots.
• Diagnostics of faults during breakdowns.
• Ensure all robots are well maintained.
• General maintenance tasks.
• Ensure critical parts are kept in stock.
• Conduct scheduled backups.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Requirements:

• Willingness to work shifts (3 shift pattern).
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Must have own vehicle.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years working experience within a similar role.
• Knowledge of press tooling and project experience is advantageous.
