Location:

This position will be based in our Port Elizabeth office, which is centrally located in one of South Africa's major cities.

Contract Details:

This is a full-time position, with a standard working week of 40 hours. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary and benefits and vehicle.

Job Description:

As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality services to our clients. You will lead a team of service professionals and ensure that all service requests are handled efficiently and effectively. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Managing a team of service professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management

- Developing and implementing service strategies to meet company goals and objectives

- Monitoring service performance and identifying areas for improvement

- Ensuring timely and accurate completion of service requests

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients

- Handling escalated service issues and resolving them in a timely manner

- Collaborating with other departments to improve overall service delivery

- Managing service budgets and expenses

- Conducting regular performance reviews and providing feedback to team members

- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in service management

Qualifications:

- Tertiary qualification advantageous or background in electrical and mechanical 

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in service management, preferably in a similar industry (Engineering / Construction) 

- Proven track record of managing a team and delivering exceptional service

- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop team members

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs

- Knowledge of service management tools and techniques

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
