Mechanical Engineer

This role is in the building / construction and engineering industry 

Key Responsibilities:

1. AutoCAD Design:
   • Develop detailed HVAC system designs using AutoCAD software.
   • Ensure designs adhere to industry standards and project requirements.
   • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to meet design objectives.
   • Review and revise designs based on feedback and project changes.
2. Tender Application Management:
   • Prepare and complete tender application forms accurately and in a timely manner.
   • Coordinate with the procurement team to gather necessary documentation.
   • Ensure compliance with tender requirements and submission deadlines.
   • Track and manage multiple tender applications concurrently.
3. Technical Expertise:
   • Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices in HVAC design.
   • Provide technical support to the sales and project management teams during the tendering process.
   • Conduct technical assessments to determine project feasibility and cost estimates.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Maintain organized records of all design drawings, calculations, and tender documents.
   • Generate reports and documentation as required for internal and external stakeholders.
   • Communicate project progress and updates effectively to team members and management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in HVAC system design using AutoCAD software advantageous
• Familiarity with AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of HVAC principles, equipment, and components.
• Experience in preparing and completing tender application forms.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
