Operations Manager – Johannesburg

Location: East Rand / Modderfontein Area
Salary: R45 000 – R55 000 CTC per month

Jobs2day is recruiting an experienced Operations Manager for an established organisation in Johannesburg.

This is a management-level appointment suited to a hands-on operational leader with strong warehousing, inventory, people and commercial management experience. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the effective day-to-day operation, including warehouse performance, stock control, staff management, financial controls, client service, compliance and continuous improvement. Key Requirements

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or equivalent management-level role
• Strong warehousing and inventory management experience
• Experience managing operational teams and multiple functions
• Sound budgeting, cost-control and financial acumen
• Experience managing clients, suppliers and SLAs
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and reporting skills
• Matric; relevant Business/Operations Management qualification preferred
• SYSPRO and/or Pastel experience advantageous
• Industrial or chemical-sector experience advantageous, but not essential

Candidates should preferably already be based in Johannesburg/Gauteng and comfortable commuting daily to the Modderfontein/Longmeadow area.
