Cluster Engineer - Remote

Responsabilities:

• Administer and manage Linux-based GPU HPC clusters for Artificial Intelligence (AI) workloads.
• Support VRED Rendering Clusters and HPC clusters for Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) applications.
• Maintain and improve in-house shell scripts.
• Investigate failed computations, perform root cause analysis, resolve incidents, and provide system support while coordinating with vendors.
• Assist and educate users without Linux experience.
• Oversee the patch management of Linux systems, including those not connected to the internet.
• Collaborate with the Network Team to manage network services (DNS, DHCP, internet access, etc.).
• Perform daily monitoring and manage backup environments (Ceph) to ensure high availability of clusters.
• Assist AI engineers in setting up development environments on GPU HPC systems.
• Deploy and maintain AWS-based AI clusters.
• Provide support for AWS VRED and CAE clusters.

Youll be a great match if you have:

• Strong knowledge of Linux OS and server administration.
• Experience with cluster management and infrastructure administration.
• Understanding of virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of storage solutions and operations.
• Familiarity with AI environments is a plus.
• Fluent english.
• Availbility to travel abroad.
