Senior NOC Consultant

What you will do:

• Design and deploy NOC environments, including structure, team roles, escalation paths, and monitoring workflows
• Assess and improve existing NOC practices, tools, and team capabilities
• Create and maintain detailed network topology diagrams and infrastructure documentation
• Configure and support enterprise-grade Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto network and security appliances
• Implement and manage firewall rules, VPNs, segmentation, and access controls
• Integrate and optimize monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, SolarWinds, FortiAnalyzer, Palo Alto Cortex, Cisco Prime)
• Define and document incident response plans, SLAs, and SOPs
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure teams on cross-functional initiatives
• Provide technical mentoring to internal network and NOC teams
• Support network planning, scalability strategies, and DR/BCP design

You'll be a great match if you have:

• 5+ years in network administration or NOC environments, including consulting/project leadership
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco (Switching/Routing/ASA/Meraki), Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer), and Palo Alto (Firewalls, Cortex)
• In-depth knowledge of routing/switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPN, NAT, QoS)
• Familiarity with network security architecture, segmentation, and access control policies
• Experience with network documentation and visualization tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)
• Strong understanding of monitoring/alerting platforms and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
• Excellent communication and consulting skills with ability to lead workshops and stakeholder sessions
