Responsibilities:

• Analyze, monitor, and optimize DB2 (LUW) database instances on Linux environments
• Ensure performance tuning, stability, and scalability of mid-to-large database systems
• Maintain and enhance core datasets critical to daily business operations
• Troubleshoot database issues and implement performance improvements
• Work with existing frameworks while contributing to the design of future solutions
• Deliver reliable, efficient, and scalable database implementations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, mainframe specialists, and operations teams
• Support integration of DB2 with enterprise tools and platforms

You'll be a great match if you have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience with IBM DB2 LUW administration and troubleshooting
• Strong experience working in high-performance and enterprise environments
• Solid knowledge of Linux administration (SLES, CentOS)
• Experience with VMware virtualization (user level)
• Proven expertise in SQL performance tuning and stored procedure optimization
• Experience integrating DB2 with tools such as Siebel or Cognos
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
• Fluent in English (C1 or higher)
