Senior Java Backend Developer

What you'll be doing:

• Develop and maintain back-end services using Java, Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Build and operate containerised applications with Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Design and optimise SQL-based database components.
• Develop automated tests, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with stakeholders and support performance optimisation and technical documentation.

You'll be a great match if you have;

• 5+ years of professional back-end development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Kubernetes, OpenShift and SQL.
• Experience with automated testing, Agile methodologies and cross-functional software delivery.
• Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and adaptability.
• Nice to have: Jenkins, Git, SonarQube, XL Deploy, XL Release, Oracle Exadata, microservices, cloud integration and experience in financial services or other regulated environments.
