Database Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Analyse existing database systems and implement improvements
• Design new and existing data models
• Build and improve integration systems between databases, data warehouses, and other repositories
• Support developers with SQL query writing and optimisation
• Create and maintain a data warehouse

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in database administration (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Postgres)
• Experience managing clusters and replication mechanisms
• Hands-on with DevOps tools and Azure
• Experience with MongoDB, Oracle, Power BI Reporting Services, and MicroStrategy
• Experience building and configuring data warehouses
• Power BI report development
• Backup and restore policy management
• Performance analysis and optimisation experience
