Linux / AIX Systems Administrator (Junior)

Responsibilities:

• Support the daily administration of AIX environments.
• Perform maintenance tasks, updates, and patching under supervision.
• Monitor systems and resolve incidents.
• Participate in troubleshooting low-complexity issues.
• Document procedures and configurations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and application teams

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a similar field.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems, with a focus on IBM AIX.
• Familiarity with the command-line interface (CLI) and essential AIX and/or Linux commands.
• Knowledge of scripting (ksh, bash, or shell scripting).
• IBM certifications (for example, IBM Certified System Administrator – AIX) are a plus but not mandatory
