Senior Data Migration Engineer

What you'll be doing:

• Design and implement the historical data migration strategy.
• Define data flows, transformation rules and migration processes.
• Lead enterprise database migration activities, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Design and optimise ETL/ELT processes.
• Work with DB2 and MongoDB and develop migration solutions using Java.
• Support testing, validation, reconciliation and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with application, database and infrastructure teams throughout the migration.

You'll be a great match if you have;

• Senior experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture or Data Migration.
• Strong experience with DB2, MongoDB and ETL/ELT.
• Good Java development skills.
• Experience with critical, high-volume and highly transactional systems.
• Previous experience in banking or payment-system migrations is highly desirable.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise data migrations.
