 E&I Technician 

We are currently looking for experienced E&I Technicians to join our team for diverse projects and long-term maintenance positions across the Netherlands

Role scope

As an E&I Technician you work on electrical and instrumentation installations in industrial facilities in the Netherlands . You install, connect, calibrate, test and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation equipment according to datasheets, drawings, P&IDs and safety standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • You install and connect power, control and instrumentation cables
  • You mount and connect instruments such as transmitters, sensors and valves (positioners and position sensors only, valves are usually installed by instrument fitters or mechanical team)
  • You perform loop checks, continuity tests and insulation tests
  • You perform commissioning and troubleshooting of E&I systems
  • You read P&IDs, wiring diagrams and loop drawings to perform installation correctly
  • You work safely with work permits, LOTO procedures and industrial safety rules
  • You collaborate with electricians, instrument fitters and supervisors on site

Must-Have Requirements

  • Proven experience as E&I Technician in industrial environments (plant, refinery, chemical or energy)
  • Ability to read P&IDs, loop diagrams, cable schedules and wiring drawings
  • Skilled in connecting both electrical and instrumentation equipment
  • Experience with Hart communicators, mA loop generator, Hand pump (druck)
  • Experience with calibration of instruments
  • VCA (SCC) required for NL projects
  • Good Technical English skills

Nice-To-Have

  • ATEX awarness
  • NEN 3140
  • Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic equipments
  • Experience with Hawke cable glands
