Corporate Lawyer

About the Role

A leading energy company in Thailand is seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer to provide legal expertise on corporate and commercial matters. This role involves contract negotiation, risk mitigation, compliance oversight, and strategic legal advisory to support business operations. If you have a strong background in corporate law and a keen understanding of business transactions, this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize corporate and commercial contracts, including local and cross-border transactions
• Provide legal opinions and strategic advice on corporate matters, governance, and compliance
• Identify, mitigate, and manage legal risks related to business operations and transactions
• Act as a key legal liaison between management, working teams, and external stakeholders
• Represent the company in legal proceedings, dispute resolution, and regulatory matters
• Support corporate activities such as shareholder meetings, board resolutions, and regulatory filings
• Ensure compliance with Thai corporate laws and international legal frameworks
• Perform other legal duties as required to support business objectives

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelors degree or higher in Law (Business Law specialization is an advantage)

Experience:

• Proven experience in corporate law, business law, or commercial legal advisory
• Experience in the energy sector is a plus

Skills & Requirements:

• Fluent in Thai and English (both verbal and written)
• Strong ability to analyze, negotiate, and draft legal documents
• Excellent problem-solving and risk assessment skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
