About the job Sales Manager
Key responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Lead and manage the sales team to consistently achieve and surpass monthly and annual sales targets for the pet food division.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to expand the customer base for pet food products and maintain high customer retention rates.
- Team Management: Ensure team members achieve individual and company KPIs, focusing on pet food sales. Foster a collaborative and competitive team culture.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze sales metrics related to pet food products and provide regular reports to upper management.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company's pet food products and nutritional information across the sales team.
- Market Development: Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies for growth within the pet food sector.
- Customer Relationship Management: Handle key accounts, build strong relationships with veterinary clinics, hospitals, and pet shops, and address customer complaints promptly.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, supply chain, HR, and product development teams to optimize sales processes, improve customer experience, and enhance team capabilities.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices through attendance at industry events and conferences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the animal health industry, including managerial roles.
- Deep understanding of the veterinary and pet food market in Thailand.
- Proven track record in sales, with experience in forecasting and CRM tools.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Experience in leading and motivating sales teams.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
