Responsibilities

  • Be a vital part of the team in Procurement for managing all Indirect and CAPEX procurement
  • Create strategies to improve, develop, and monitor ongoing assigned supplier performance by partnering with stakeholders to define desired outcomes, including price trends analysis and identifying strategic cost management and value enhancement opportunities
  • Consult with stakeholders to create the best contractual outcome including strong legal and business terms and meaningful performance indicators and/or service levels. Negotiate, finalize, advise, and maintain the contract documents
  • Coordinate with suppliers and users to support the purchasing process
  • Report on Cost/Cash Saving and Cost Avoidance
  • Support Procurement KPIs and bowler actions in general
  • Prepare purchasing analyses of indirect spend
  • Ensure data discipline and master data
  • Ensure good internal customer satisfaction
  • Filing documents to increase efficiency in purchasing under the department process and policy
  • Ensure to purchase of goods/services at the right price, with the right supplier, right quantities, with on-time delivery, and according to the agreement with BU
  • Monitoring and managing suppliers performance for cost, quality, responsiveness delivery timeliness, etc.
  • Processing requisitions and updating management on the status
  • Release PO to supplier and follow up order acknowledgment
  • Coordinate with Warehouse, Accounting, and Financial counsel to solve the day-to-day operation
  • Others as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or higher in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or any related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience in Indirect Sourcing (Buying/Purchasing/Procurement), Construction or Engineering fields.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Good communication skills in English both written and spoken
  • Have excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
  • Solid experience in Strategic Sourcing and Indirect Category Management setup
  • Understanding the End to End process of Indirect Procurement
  • Service-minded and able to work well under pressure
  • Strong analytical/technical aptitude and competence
  • Proactively identifies key issues and delivers efficient responses to Sourcing and productivity issues
  • Ability to analyze pricing proposals and utilize a fact-based approach to drive negotiations and value generation
  • SAP experience
