About the job Product Planning Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Product Specifications Management: Develop and maintain product specifications, ensuring they align with technical and marketing data for both internal and external use.
- Asset Management: Oversee and manage all product-related assets, including technical documents, marketing materials, and digital resources. Ensure that all assets are current and easily accessible.
- Ordering and Inventory Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to handle ordering processes and maintain optimal stock levels, preventing both shortages and excess inventory.
- Product Expertise: Act as the product expert by providing detailed knowledge and support to internal teams such as sales, marketing, and customer service. Conduct training sessions and create educational materials as necessary.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and sales teams to ensure consistent product information across all departments.
- Market Research and Analysis: Perform market research to understand customer needs, competitor products, and industry trends, using these insights to guide product decisions.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from initial sales to end-of-life. Analyze market conditions and provide data to support product requests and development decisions from the management team.
- Reporting and Documentation: Create and present regular reports on product performance, including sales data, inventory status, and customer feedback. Maintain comprehensive documentation of all product-related processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in product management within the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of automotive products and industry trends.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present information to various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in supply chain management and inventory control.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards within the automotive industry.
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools.
