Job Description:

As an HGV Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to our clients' designated locations. You will operate a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) and ensure that all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate an HGV to transport goods and materials to designated locations

- Plan and organize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries

- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition

- Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while on the road

- Communicate with dispatchers and clients to provide updates on delivery status

- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and timely

- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times

- Report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel

- Follow company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:

- Valid HGV license

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HGV Driver (But can apply with less experience)

- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws

- Ability to plan and organize delivery routes effectively

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy loads

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Flexibility to work long hours and weekends when required
