Private cooks for groups in chalets (Austria or France)

Job Adventure, a Barcelona-based recruitment organization, has partnered with renowned private chalet operators in Austria and France to offer job opportunities for individuals eager to work in Europe. These positions are ideal for those with the necessary documentation and a passion for adventure.

Location: Serfaus/Fiss, Finkenberg, Gerlos, Fieberbrunn, Saalbach en Châtel (FR)

Arrival date: Beginning December until Half March or half April (depending on the ski season)

Flight ticket, Health insurance, and sometimes the house: Paid by the company

Your main functions will be:

• Prepare breakfast and meals for the guests of the private chalets (4 fixed dinners 2 own creation) No lunch
• Work schedule: morning and evening (breakfast and dinner)
  Hours per week: Fulltime (36 per week)
• They have a fixed menu which you must prepare 2 days own creation always 3 courses
• If the chalet is booked for a week, you have 1 day off, with short stay work in the morning and the next day in the evening
• Between 2 bookings you must help clean the chalet

What do we offer?

• Salary per month is 2215, - gross or 1714, - Netto, payment monthly
• Tips: yes, shared with other staff + a bonus when there is a positive review from the guest
• Vacation money: 8% of the annual salary
• Health insurance premium: Free and is arranged by the company
• Housing: depends on the chalet but between 0 and 227 per month
• How to pay your rent and meal costs: This will be paid to the company
• Type of housing: they try to give cooks their own room but, in some cases, it is shared, this will be known if the location is chosen
• Meals: breakfast and dinner free lunch own costs (or leftovers)
• Work uniform: Everything is there, if you have safety shoes bring them and your own knives of course
• Flight ticket: Paid by the company for other travel expenses as well

• The experience is really good! All the cooks who worked there want to come back!
• The company arranges your trip to the chalet
• The location and chalet will be chosen to fit well with the team and wishes of the cook
• You will get an Austrian contract directly with the company
• The housing depends on the location, sometimes in the chalet, sometimes in the village
• Depending on experience you can get a big chalet or a small chalet. If the chalet is big you must work fast to get all the meals ready in 1 time
• If you want you can buy a ski pass so you can ski, if you complete the full season, you get the money back from the company

Minimum requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Chef or Independent cook.
• Leadership skills.
• Excellent time management abilities.
• Studies in Gastronomy Medium or High-level degree.
• You must be willing to communicate with the guests! English is required!
