Position Overview
As a Physical Therapist, you will develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on physical therapy principles. You will collaborate with medical staff, referral sources, third-party payers, and the interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and create individualized PT plans of care to identify patient needs and formulate achievable goals.

Conduct specialized tests and utilize functional outcome measures to assess strength, range of motion, and overall function.

Guide patients through exercise programs and functional training.

Provide instructions for home exercise programs (HEPs) and therapeutic activities to promote ongoing patient engagement.

Adapt therapy techniques to meet each patient's unique needs, including training for family and caregivers.

Accurately document and report on patient progress in compliance with healthcare standards.

Participate in educational programs and in-service meetings as required.

Attend necessary meetings and perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in a science-based field.

Hold a degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Must be licensed and in good standing with the Louisiana State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
