Position Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical/Surgical Unit to provide top-quality, compassionate care in an Acute Care Hospital setting. New grads are encouraged to apply!

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care to a diverse patient population.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Monitor patient progress and administer treatments/medications as prescribed.
  • Educate patients and families on post-hospital care and wellness strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

  • Current RN license in the State of Louisiana (Required)
  • Experience in Medical-surgical
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification preferred (or obtained within 6 months of hire)
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting

Schedule & Compensation

  • Full-time position with rotating shifts (6 AM 6 PM) and weekends
