Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, producing high-quality images, and assisting with patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetrical, vascular, and small parts exams

- Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for interpretation by a radiologist or physician

- Prepare patients for procedures and provide clear instructions to ensure their comfort and cooperation during the exam

- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation of procedures performed

- Assist with patient care, including positioning, monitoring, and providing support as needed

- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis

- Keep abreast of industry developments and advancements in technology to continuously improve skills and knowledge

- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals

- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities as required

- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

- Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program

- Current certification as an Ultrasound Technician

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting

- Proficient in operating ultrasound equipment and producing high-quality images

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

- Current CPR certification

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
