The Administrative Assistant will support the daily operations of Jill Frisch & Freeze Mini Mart by performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provides administrative support directly to the Coordinator, Customer Engagement and Support.
  • Maintains all department budgets lines, including operating, auxiliary, and agency accounts. In addition, generates reports, requisitions, and tracks expenditures for Customer Engagement and Support, Customer Organizations.
  • Manages requests, communication, data, and reports for Customer Engagement and Support social/resource programs.
  • Compiles and submits monthly expense reports for Customer Engagement and Support office and student organizations. Also, submits monthly agency account statements directly to student organizations.
  • Serves at initial point of contact for stakeholders regarding Customer Engagement and Support processes for expressive activity requests, maintain office supplies inventory and submits orders for the department.

  • Possess excellent, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to promote and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and work well under limited time constraints.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other departments, external contractors and vendors, groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-ethnic and multicultural environment.
  • Possess computer literacy (Outlook and MS Office).

Required Education:

  • High School graduate or equivalent (GED).

Required Experience:

  • Two (2) years of office clerical or administrative support experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Basic skill level in Microsoft Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint.

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 40 per week
