Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop a forward-looking sales forecast to be used for import purposes (based on historical selling patterns, seasonal trends, and promotional activity)
- Where necessary, manage component tracking and place orders to support finished good buys
- Partner with other cross functional teams to ensure seamless flow of communication
- Set and maintain regional forecasting and deployment parameters, taking into account constraints and inputs such as inventory levels by store cluster, lead time and order cycle, timing of merchandise delivery, minimum presentation quantity/safety stock, distribution size and frequency
- Work with Logistics to resolve external constraints that impact inventory flow to distribution center and the distribution center
- Read and react to business trends, analyzing performance: adjusting forecasts, partner allocations, and receipt plans
- Manage inventory in support of major events i.e. item launch, promotions, new stores, relocations
- Develop rapport with International partners and build credibility through effective communication.
- Coordinate with cross functional partners activities necessary to support and execute quick turn-around on event changes
- Problem solve with cross-functional partners to resolve inventory issues and proactively address constraints
- Identify system inputs from cross-functional teams impacting inventory fulfillment that require further updates to optimize flow
Qualifications:
3-5 years of sales, logistics, imports or business development
1+ years experience in Retail Supply Chain
International experience preferred but not required
