Duties and Responsibilities
- Advise and support school leaders within a portfolio of schools and network-wide, and contribute to multiple operational and non-instructional works streams that impact these schools (e.g., food service, vendor management, enrollment, attendance, procurement and purchasing, safety/security, finance and budgeting, transportation, facilities, information technology, and human resources);
- Serve as the main operationally-focused liaison between schools and Home Office for a portfolio of schools;
- Develop curriculum and implement trainings for school operations and office staff to maximize efficiency and ensure adherence to compliance requirements;
- Provide coaching and mentoring to school operations/office staff.
- Conduct local program reviews to ensure compliance to federal, state, and authorizer requirements;
- Perform data analysis to help Alliance schools make sound operational decisions;
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in education, educational leadership or related field, strongly preferred
5+ years of K-12 experience, including classroom and leadership roles, in environments serving diverse student populations
Experience with supporting large scale curriculum adoption and implementation at a system level (state, district or charter network)
Strong knowledge of creating an evidence-based culture of continuous learning
