About this position:
VEBT is looking to add an IT Support Technician who is passionate about technology and customer service. Our technicians work directly with end users to diagnose and resolve a wide variety of software and hardware issues in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. They also manage new employee onboarding, including workstation setup and configuring Active Directory/Exchange Accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide frontline technical support to on-site and remote employees by diagnosing and resolving software, hardware, mobile app, and phone system issues
- Perform PC repairs, upgrades and reimaging on Dell Desktops and Dell Latitude Laptop systems
- Set up new workstations and relocating existing ones
- Manage inbound support requests and software upgrades/rollouts
- Respond to calls from employees regarding technical issues
Requirements:
- PC and Network knowledge/experience required
- IT-related college degree or professional experience required
- Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for helping others
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016 / Office 365 and Windows 10 is a plus
