About The Role

Main Functions:

  • During study stage, must support all technical aspects of the project and comment on memos generated.
  • Support the development of project constructability.
  • Participate in the development of the project Schedule
  • Lead in all safety aspects of the project.
  • Ensure available Engineering is applicable to field conditions.
  • Validate progress and quantities reported in contractor invoices.
  • Multidisciplinary management skills are required.
  • Support Contractors with onboarding process.
  • Ensure contractors Safety documentation is are always present.
  • Support and Conduct Safety and QAQC (Quality Assurance Quality Control) audits.
  • Instructs and controls Projects reporting and documentation.
  • Sets and attends meetings (contracts, PC&A and construction mostly) to ensure budget, schedule and contractual best practices are in place.
  • Works collaboratively and leads the tasks assigning priorities of the other functions working in the Contract.

About You

  • Experience in construction roles.
  • BachelorĀ“s degree Geology, Engineering degree, preferably Civil.
  • Experience in Contract Management and/or Projects Control of Construction Contracts
  • Experience in Construction or projects execution in Mining facilities is required.
  • Availability to be positioned in field full time (shits system).
  • English (mid level) and Spanish are required.
  • Relevant communication skills (oral and written).
  • Preferably experience in early stages of execution projects, knowledge of bidding processes, commercial terms and conditions.
  • Experience with claims detection and management (data organization and filing)
