Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interacts with customers to determine their individual financial needs. Suggests appropriate products and services in accordance with established policies and procedures. Supports the customer experience methodology as developed by branch management.
  • Effectively educates and demonstrates to customers the features and benefits of consumer banking technology. Instructs and assists customers in opening and accessing their account information using appropriate technology.
  • Provides exceptional customer service by maintaining current knowledge of the corporation's products, services, technology, policy and procedures. Maintains strong customer relationships to expand cross selling opportunities and develops new opportunities through sales and service excellence.
  • Promotes the Bank's sales and service process by pro-actively greeting customers, identifying customer service and product needs, making appropriate referrals, achieving individual weekly referral goals set by the Branch Manager and assisting in selling and cross-selling products and services that meet the banking needs of customers.
  • Provides appropriate customer service and follow-up to all customer inquiries. Performs research to obtain information concerning products and assists with the resolution of customer complaints.
  • Participates in the weekly branch sales meeting, coaching sessions and applicable sales activities.
  • Maintains knowledge about and complies with all Bank, regulatory and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Supports the execution of both internal and external promotional and event strategies. Interacts with the university community to support the development of positive community relations and the Bank's image.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and 1 year Financial services and/or 1 year Sales Experience
