Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generate well decline forecasts, future production forecasts, remaining reserve analysis, stimulation recommendations, well work-over supervision, pipeline design analysis, facility design, and assistance on potential field expansion.
- Generate economic evaluations and sensitivity analyses concerning oil and gas operations; provide potential income forecasts.
- Perform well log analysis on wells to evaluate possible bypassed production and to research potential additional production capabilities.
- Perform reservoir simulations and characterizations to maximize oil and gas production.
- Prepare inventory requirements for long lead items and issue bids for services, purchase orders, material transfers, to optimize spending and budget considerations. Interface with vendors and service providers to ensure equipment and services are provided in a timely manner.
- Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of projects.
- Design on-site field installation/operation of surface equipment, pumping units and subsurface equipment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering
Petroleum engineering and oil and gas deposits knowledge
