Policy Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Experience applying policy to online content, while making accurate judgment calls regarding appropriate and violative content.
• Experience with spreadsheets, databases SQL, and data analysis.
• Review content policy, anti-abuse, and reviewing online content.
• Prepare presentations & agendas, schedule meetings and record minutes for Project meetings
• Work with international issues across multiple geographies, including freedom of expression, child safety, and/or online controversial content.
• Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience in policy, government, or law.
Experience working in an operations capacity (e.g., sales/finance/business operations, managing process improvements, etc.).
