Underwriting Operations Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review property and casualty inspection reports and manage inspection recommendations.
• Review policy performance for renewal business requesting additional information.
• Partner, communicate, and build relationships to gather Customer and business requirements and communicate effectively with Project Team and support groups
• Process property and casualty insurance transactions to quotes for new and renewal business, endorsements, cancellations, loss runs, submissions, premium reports and miscellaneous items in accordance with established department guidelines.
• Service new and renewal accounts for change requests to be reviewed by underwriters. Coordinates renewal activities to maximize customer experience and service levels.
• Set up underwriting files and applications by obtaining required documents and updating appropriate systems.
• Conduct research and run reports for initial risk analysis such as financial reports, loss history reports, credit checks, loss control, ISO reports, Risk Meter, etc.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
Experience in Commercial Insurance
Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and technical aptitude
