Principal Chemist

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform work in a safe manner while identifying opportunities for improving safety
• Deliver innovative solutions to customer problems related to oilfield phase separation
• Develop new emulsion breaker, reverse emulsion breaker and flow improver products through testing and formulation at customer sites
• Support entire product life cycle for phase separation and flow improver products, including both laboratory and field technical support
• Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting and understanding laboratory and field test results that apply to the associated area
• Communicate technical recommendations or test results to a wide range of audiences including internal and external customers
• Work effectively in a team environment with cross-functional members.
• Detail orientated and excellent time management skills.

Qualifications:

• Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related technical field. PhD and < 2 years of experience, MS and 3+ years of experience, BS and +5 years of experience.
