Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform economic analysis and engineering evaluations for acquisitions, drilling, workover, and recompletion opportunities.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for reporting purposes.
- Provide reservoir engineering support for base producing wells including decline curve analysis and identifying wells that are off trend.
- Work with multi-discipline teams to support optimal asset development and operation, leveraging fundamental reservoir and production engineering skills in development planning, opportunity generation, production surveillance and optimization.
- Responsible for routine surveillance of wells & fields to ensure optimal production rates.
- Achieve zero-incident safety performance by strict adherence to all safety training, procedures, and risk management.
- Develop oil and gas reserve estimates and future production schedules and design/implement efficient exploitation.
- Regularly communicate with management regarding project status, goals and objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelors Engineering degree, preferably in Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical
5+ years experience in Production Engineering
Experience in Reserves estimation & production forecasting using decline curve analysis and analog type curves.
Reservoir Simulation and ability to interrogate and analyze reservoir simulation results.
