Logistics Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze previous logistics data to make changes to current logistics processes for Domestic and International Shipping, as well as provide input into the development, implementation, and/or execution of processes to control logistics spend.
• Use analytical skills to reduce company downtime due to logistics issues, and escalate problems as required.
• Maintain relationships with 3-PL Provider, Carriers, and International Freight Forwarders. Track and analyze transit times, rates and procedures.
• Build and maintain an effective communications network with all logistics, supply chain, entity, and geographic management to ensure timely and accurate communication.
• Arrange the warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments of parts to and from locations.
• Monitor inbound, outbound, co-packing, warehousing and distribution activities to ensure shelf-life monitoring and management, supports reduction of write offs and constantly looks for opportunities to improve productivities
• Develop and initiate strategies, policies, metrics, guidelines for logistics, customer service, transportation, warehouse, and production planning.
• Monitor all updates to financial policies, regulation, and legislation

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field required
• SAP experience a plus
• Advanced Excel skills a plus
