Financial Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities

- Tracks and analyzes Actuals vs. Budget/Forecast for operating expenses.

- Supports the monthly forecast, the monthly reporting and analysis, the annual operating plan, and the strategic plan processes. Provides variance analysis and determine cause of change.

- Drives enhancements in financial reporting and analysis as well as requisite system requirements.

- Determine and report client's assets, liabilities, cash flow, insurance coverage, tax status, and financial objectives.

- Assists in preparation of special studies, analyses, and recommendations in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, and business forecasts.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience; strong working knowledge of GAAP.

1 to 3 years of experience in Financial Analysis

Strong knowledge in government and financial industry regulations related principles and practices, and company instructions, procedures and policies

Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and focus on using technology to improve processes.
