PLANT MANAGER

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for plant production goals.
• Responsible for product quality control for the plant.
• Direct and coordinate plant operations within company policy and guidelines.
• Work with department managers to ensure coordination of purchasing, production, and shipping.
• Select and train plant supervisory and administrative staff.
• Foster a well-trained and motivated staff through excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Conduct employee performance reviews.
• Schedule and conduct plant meetings.
• Ensure maintenance of clean and safe plant.
• Communicate with all levels of personnel through strong interpersonal skills.
• Attend corporate training and meetings.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish / English
• 7+ years Experience within food manufacturing
• 5+ years Experience as Plant Manager
• Strong planning and organization skills and ability to multitask
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, clients, customers, and the general public
• High sense of urgency
• Ability to work well under pressure in fast paced environment
• Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook Education.
